Innovations - Longitudinal base

The longitudinal fact base model is supported by a time model which represents an important contribution.
We do not consider time as associated to real numbers, nor as associated to a discrete set of numbers.
We consider time as associated to a set of protocols in an executable status over one or more objects. Time as the axis of the system is determined by the kind of protocols that can be executed. The perceived time is the actual execution of the protocol. Time is perceived through an instance of an object state obtained by the execution of a protocol.
Time as a real number, as a measurement, is a data of the fact. A fact base must be bitemporal, recording the time instant when the fact was perceived in the real world and the time instant stored in the system. When the occasion arises, these two instants can be matched.
