Innovations - Longitudinal base

A longitudinal fact base is a structured system of storage of facts, showing the data as an element of information of events which are predetermined in type and which may occur or be perceived repeatedly over time.
A fact base, by the very notion of a fact, is a system that collects information over time. Therefore it may be understood that -in fact- it is a longitudinal concept. Nevertheless, the term fact base has been used to refer to storage structures where time is not considered explicitly. Therefore, to distinguish our concept, we have considered it appropriate to incorporate the term 'longitudinal'.
