Principles and Ideas - Protocols

A protocol is the procedure under which a process runs.
The protocol may change over time.
A protocol change of a process is not understood as a change of state of the process.
A process is not perceived as an object. Thus changes of state of a process are not perceived.
A process is an abstraction that is instantiated or particularized across protocols.
A protocol must not be perceived as a state of the process.
